Nils Allen Stewart, Jr. (nicknamed Booboo) was born on January 21, 1994 in Beverly Hills, California to his parents; Nils Allen Stewart, who is a professional stuntman and his mother, Renee, who was a professional fitness competitor; where he is the second of four children. Booboo is the only boy of Nils and Renee as they have three other children, all girls, Trent (aka Fivel), Maegan (oldest) and Sage Stewart (youngest). Each of the Stewart children have been involved with stunt work and acting their entire lives, with Booboo & Fivel often being co-stars in quite a few of their projects.

Since Booboo was three years old, he has studied various forms of Martial Arts such as Hawaiian Kempo, Shotokan, Warring Tempo, Sports Jiu-Jitsu, fut sau kune do (which is also known as Buddhist Fist Way, a form of Wing Chun Kung Fu), Extreme Martial Arts and Jiu-Jitsu, among many other forms. Booboo and Fivel both started training under their father in the ways of Shotokan, Warring Tempo and Hawaiian Kempo before quickly branching out into the other forms of the art. In 2002 and 2003, when Booboo was 8 and 9 respectively, he became a Tournament Promotors Association World Champion. The following year in 2004, Booboo was inducted into the Martial Arts Junior Hall of Fame.

By the age of 10, Booboo was bitten by the acting bug and he was quickly booked in many projects as he had many firsts in 2004. He starred as a Background Extra in Eminem’s “Just Lose It” music video, Little Boy in Yard Sale, Martial Artist Extra in Steve Harvey’s Big Time Challenge, Child Warrior in Skeleton Man as well as a recurring role as Stephen in the supernatural soap opera, Dante’s Cove. In the unaired pilot of Dante’s Cove, Booboo was credited as “Boo Boo Torra” for unknown reasons.

Throughout the next couple years, Booboo would star in multiple television shows and movies. In 2005, he starred as Power Ranger in ER and Vendor in Pit Fighter and appearing in Daichi Miura’s “Keep It Goin’ On” music video. While in 2006, he was steadily more busy with roles as Young Buford in 18 Fingers of Death!, Ben Conrad in The Conrad Boys, Donald in 666: The Child, Ping in Everybody Hates Chris, stuntwork in Zoom and The Host of Blue Dolphin Kids.

In 2007, Booboo ventured off into other avenues along with starring as Young Tallis in The Last Sentinel and Bike Kid in Uncle P; which was his singing career, also doing stuntwork for Beowulf. When he was twelve, he received a record deal with Walt Disney Records and was apart of the short lived teen group, T-Squad, having went on to tour with Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers and The Cheetah Girls and filming multiple music videos for many of their songs. After the disbanding of T-Squad (with fellow members, Jade Gilley, Miki Ishikawa and Kid Karizz), he would go on to perform with his sisters, Maegan, Sage and Fivel for a bit as The Stewart Clan. (TSC) and as part of another short lived band, Echoes of Angels.

Booboo still hasn’t found his big breakout role by 2008 and 2009, he has starred in multiple films and music videos like playing Young Chance in The Fifth Commandment (2008), Danimals Commercial (2008), Target Commercial (2008), Cee Lo Green’s “Kung Fu Fighting” music video (2008), as Cary in American Cowslip (2009) and as Son in the short film, How I Survived The Zombie Apocalypse. Other than acting, he’s appeared on camera for WWE, where he was in attendance for Summerslam (2009) and later that year, he appeared at TNA Wrestling’s Bound For Glory (2009) PPV event in Irvine, California.

Booboo being such a big fan of Wrestling since he was five years old and used to accompany his father to a wrestling training center in Mission Viejo, California and being older now, he wanted to be more involved in it, TNA Wrestling gave him his own interviewing column on their website titled “15 Minutes with Booboo.” which he did up until early 2011.

Other than the wrestling related projects, 2010 was a busy year for Booboo as he starred in his breakout hit movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) as Seth Clearwater, among many others such as Jake Wincott in Dark Games (2010), Ben in Logan (2010; also listed as a Producer for the film), Peabo in Smitty and as Kenny Turner in an episode of CSI: Miami (2010).

Following his busy start of the new decade, 2011 kept him just as busy with playing Jake Stevens in Jake Stevens: The Last Protector, Kai in Good Luck Charlie and Kai in R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour. It seen his return to TNA Wrestling in a special segment with Jeff Jarrett, where his mom, Renee and sister, Fivel, to challenge Jeff in his “Double J, Double M-A” Challenge. After taking his height and deeming him worthy to challenge him, Jeff took notice of his father and told him to stand up all the way, before quickly disqualifying Booboo from challenging him as Booboo will “one day be taller than him.”, He would also go onto reprise his role as Seth Clearwater in the 2011 sequel, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1 and the 2012 sequel, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2. He also made an appearance in Kickin’ It as Carson and as Nick in White Frog, who is a boy with Asperger’s.

After Twilight ended it’s series of movies, Booboo would still steadily star in many movies and series such as: Hansel & Gretel: Warriors of Witchcraft (2013; as Jonah), Running Deer (2013; as Tyler), Space Warriors (2013; as Conway), Hawaii Five-0 (2014; as Tommy Fa’aloa), An Evergreen Christmas (2014; as Angel), The Last Survivors (2014; as Dean) and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014; as Warpath).

In 2015, He got another breakout hit role; this time for Disney. He was cast as Jay, who is Jafar’s son in the hit Disney trilogy, Descendants, Descendants: Wicked World (2015 – 2017), Descendants 2 (2017) and Descendants 3 (2019) which also spawned Carscendants music videos.
